01

Electrical panels and equipment

Thermal imaging to identify temperature anomalies and areas of elevated heating.

02

Buildings and building systems

Infrared surveys to visualise temperature differences across surfaces.

03

Photovoltaic installations

Thermal imaging of photovoltaic panels to identify temperature anomalies and localised heating.

Thermography in action

One installation.
Two ways to see it.

Survey photographs: the visible image shows the equipment, while the thermal image shows the temperature distribution. The assessment takes account of the load and measurement conditions.

Thermal imaging supports diagnostics. The cause of a temperature anomaly is established through analysis and, where necessary, further checks.

Benefits of analysis

A stronger basis
for timely maintenance.

01

Early detection

Locating hot spots and temperature anomalies that may indicate faulty connections, overloading or damaged components.

02

Planned maintenance

Helps prioritise inspections and repairs before a problem causes an unexpected shutdown.

03

Non-contact method

Surveys can be carried out while equipment is operating, where access and conditions allow safe working.

04

Documented findings

A thermographic report with images and analysis supports internal documentation and tracking of identified anomalies.

Photovoltaic installations

Context is part of the analysis.

Alongside the thermal image, operating conditions, solar irradiance and site conditions are important to the assessment. The photographs show measuring equipment used with photovoltaic panels.
